Dansk Kobenstyle Kelly Green Saucepan

So I had almost given up on my local Value Village having anything good for me, but after my pyrex fridgie find recently, I decided to pop my head in this weekend.

Among a bunch of cruddy old fondue pots was this vibrant kelly green Dansk Kobenstyle saucepot! Designed by Jens Quistgaard and made in France, I read somewhere that the green colour is the rarest... Only produced for two years.

There was a really stubborn Value Village sticker covering the label. Methinks that this is why it was still waiting to be picked! It was five bucks, and in great condition.

I haven't decided yet whether to keep it for myself or try selling it on craigslist!

Linking up with Nifty Thrifty at A Living Space and ATG's Thrift Share Monday!

  1. Well done! I avoid VV but maybe I should drop by!

  2. It's beautiful! (Never thought I'd say that about a saucepan:) ). I'd be tempted to keep it.

  3. I have such a hard time parting with rare items that I find. One on hand, you could make a good amount of money but on the other hand, you could have something amazing for your own collection! I say keep it for a while and enjoy it. I adore the green color.

  4. NICE! I don't know about what I would do either...It is very cute and I would be tempted to keep it.

  5. YAY! That is a great find! Does it do well on Craigslist? Amazing! If you decide to sell, you should Ebay-it. If you decide to keep, then you can enjoy it.

    1. The city I am in does seem quite good about picking MCM items up for good prices on craigslist. I will let it sit on CL so I can enjoy it for a bit. If it does not sell and I am ready to part with it, I will take your advice and ebay it!

  6. Such a terrific find! That color is stunning. It should do very well if you decide to sell it.

  7. the colour is gorgeous! were you able to remove the vv sticker without damaging the original label?
