Dansk Kobenstyle Kelly Green Saucepan

So I had almost given up on my local Value Village having anything good for me, but after my pyrex fridgie find recently, I decided to pop my head in this weekend.

Among a bunch of cruddy old fondue pots was this vibrant kelly green Dansk Kobenstyle saucepot! Designed by Jens Quistgaard and made in France, I read somewhere that the green colour is the rarest... Only produced for two years.

There was a really stubborn Value Village sticker covering the label. Methinks that this is why it was still waiting to be picked! It was five bucks, and in great condition.

I haven't decided yet whether to keep it for myself or try selling it on craigslist!

  2. It's beautiful! (Never thought I'd say that about a saucepan:) ). I'd be tempted to keep it.

  3. I have such a hard time parting with rare items that I find. One on hand, you could make a good amount of money but on the other hand, you could have something amazing for your own collection! I say keep it for a while and enjoy it. I adore the green color.

  5. YAY! That is a great find! Does it do well on Craigslist? Amazing! If you decide to sell, you should Ebay-it. If you decide to keep, then you can enjoy it.

    1. The city I am in does seem quite good about picking MCM items up for good prices on craigslist. I will let it sit on CL so I can enjoy it for a bit. If it does not sell and I am ready to part with it, I will take your advice and ebay it!
